So Odisha itself is one of the calmest places in India. Then, a two hour drive from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, is Dhenkanal, a quaint little town famous for its handicrafts.

Another hour or so drive from Dhenkanal that includes an uphill drive of about half an hour is this beautiful Shiva Temple with great views. One can imagine the level of peace that hits you when you’re coming from Delhi.

I visited the temple with Madam Shubhankari Das of IIMC Dhenkanal…it will be a memorable trip for me as I take back memories and pictures of time well spent.
