I had the opportunity to speak at the Winter Internship Programme organised by the Department of Communication and Media Technology at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana.
The session focused on storytelling, visual communication, and the responsibilities that come with documenting people, places, and realities. Interacting with students at this stage of their learning is always enriching. Their observations and curiosity reflect a strong engagement with the craft of media and journalism.
Such academic spaces play a crucial role in bridging classroom learning with real-world practice, and conversations like these reaffirm the importance of thoughtful, ethical storytelling in today’s media landscape.
Listening to the thoughts of esteemed academicians, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Kumar of J.C.Bose University and Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Vice Chancellor, Gurugram University, was truly inspiring and brought in great insights. The interaction with the vibrant team of Prof. Pawan Singh, Prof. Anuradha Sharma and the other faculty members were again very warm and enlightening.
